| Remove the cap from one of the provided whitening syringes by pulling it off gently and replace it with a provided application tip, turning into place slightly. Using the syringe, squeeze a thin line of whitening gel into the front of your whitening trays. This is the area that the front of your teeth will be touching. Use approximately ¼ ml to ½ ml per tray. It is not necessary to whiten the back of your teeth, as they are not visible. Do not overfill the whitening trays, as any excess gel will be squeezed out onto your gums. Place the whitening trays on your teeth for 20 minutes to 1 hour at a time. Repeat this process on both upper and lower teeth once a day until your teeth have reached the desired shade of white. Make sure that the whitening gel is applied evenly so that all teeth are covered. If additional gel overflows onto your gums, simply remove it using a tissue, cotton swab, or clean finger.
